Mammoth Minute Quick Report Return to OwnMammoth.com
November 28, 2005
With another Thanksgiving past, the winter holidays are just around the corner. Since the sale of the mountain, the available inventory in real estate has fallen by about half and prices are steadily rising. Many are seeing the same signs they failed to act on several years ago and are jumping at the chance to purchase as soon as possible. Sellers couldn't be in a better position at this time to sell and are receiving offers at list price, many times with multiple offers.
There were several projects completed, partially or wholly, over the summer with occupancy and/or tours of models now available.

Although off to a late start as far as snowfall, the mountain reminds us that many of the big snow years has started with no snow in the month of November. With the notoriety of Mammoth Mountain in the local and national media, many new visitors are coming to Mammoth for the first time to explore the hype they are reading first hand. This can present an obstacle for buyers looking at property to purchase. On weekends and holidays, many condominiums are rented out on rental programs. Prior planning can avoid these inconveniences by arranging showings and checking the availability of units.
Unlike condominiums, nightly rentals are not permitted in single family homes so showings are not usually a problem if sellers are motivated. Most will allow showings during their occupancy.
I am available weekends for showings and during the week by appointment. I truly believe it is in your best interest to give me a heads up regarding what you are looking for so that I can make the most efficient use of your time so that you can get back to enjoying the things that keep you coming back to Mammoth. I'm only a phone call (760-793-6344) or an email away (Stacie@OwnMammoth.com).
